Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, without error in their original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in the faith and life of the believer. (Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
2. We believe in one God, Creator and Lord of the universe, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-2; Matthew 28:18-20; John 10:27-30)
3. We believe that Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death on the Cross, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to Heaven. We believe He is fully God and fully man, and as such, the only Mediator between God and man. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-23; Luke 2:1-20; John 1:1-14; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:1-3)
4. We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; that all human beings have a propensity for sin, are morally responsible for their own actions, and possess an inability to save themselves from this plight. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; 5:12; 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-4,8-10)
5. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins; that His shed blood provides the only grounds for our justification, and that faith and repentance are the necessary conditions to procure it; that we are saved from sin's penalty on the basis of God's grace and sin's power by the strength of His grace. We believe that good works are a necessary evidence that we have been saved since we are His workmanship, created for good works, that we should walk in them. (1 John 2:2; Acts 13:38-39; Hebrews 2:3-28; Romans 5:1-2,8-9; Ephesians 2:8-9; Luke 24:46-47)
6. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, convicts the world of sin, and regenerates the life of believers. He further indwells, guides, and empowers the believer for a life of Godliness and service. He sovereignly distributes gifts for the edification of the whole community while individually producing spiritual fruit in those who follow His leading and not the lusts of their own flesh. (John 16:7-15; Acts 1:8; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Galatians 5:16-25)
7. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the justified in Christ Jesus to everlasting life in God's presence, of the unbelieving and unjust to everlasting conscious punishment. (Daniel 12:2-4; John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:1-58; Revelation 20:4-5,11-15)
8. We believe that all who have been justified in Christ Jesus are called to a life of repentance, confession, and separation from all worldly and sinful practices; that the fear of the Lord is not only the beginning of wisdom, but the spiritual element that leads to a life of purity and holiness. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Peter 1:13-21; 2 Corinthians 7:1,10-11; Titus 2:11-12)
9. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church; that every local church has the right under Christ to govern its own affairs; that He will personally and visibly return for His Church, create a new Heaven and a new earth, and establish His glorious kingdom in its fullness forevermore. (Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 1:18; Acts 1:11; 2 Peter 3:4-15; Revelation 20-21)
10. We believe in the Great Commandment; that God is love, that we love because He first loved us, and that loving Him supremely with all heart, soul, mind and strength is not only the duty of every believer, but the natural response to His love. We believe in the Great Commission; that every believer is a disciple of all that Jesus lived and taught, that every believer has been given a mandate to make disciples, that this begins with what is commonly called evangelism, but continues with teaching new disciples to obey all that Jesus commanded. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Matthew 22:35-40; 1 John 4:7-10; Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Timothy 2:2)

Statement of Values
The Pursuit of God
We hunger to know God, to sense His presence, to hear
His voice, and to seek after Him with all our heart, soul,
mind, and strength.
Christlikeness
We desire to be changed and transformed into the image
and likeness of Jesus Christ. We want to reflect the same
character and walk as He did in truth, love, purity, and
holiness.
The Message of the Cross
We hold dearly the message of the cross through which
we have found forgiveness and entrance into life eternal.
But it is also through the cross that we learn to crucify
the self-life, with its passions and desires that are
often contrary to the love of Christ.
Praise & Worship
We take pleasure in our God by praising Him for the great
and awesome things He has done and by worshipping Him
for who He is in all His natural and moral perfections.
Prayer & Intercession
We believe that prayer is the primary and deepest means
of communion with God, and that intercession is the greatest
spiritual labor for the kingdom of God.
The Kingdom of God
We are seekers and laborers for the Kingdom of God; its
preeminence, its advancement, and its personal benefits
of peace, joy, and righteousness.
Servant Leadership
We believe that God has ordained various forms of leadership
within the church. We aim to exercise such authority with
a servant's heart, humility, graciousness, selflessness,
and within the Biblical parameters established for that
authority.
Mercy & Compassion
We believe that mercy and compassion were the primary
manifestations of Christ's love as He ministered to all
levels of humanity during His earthly presence. To the
extent of our ability, we aim to minister in mercy and
compassion to all.
The Ministry of the Spirit
We aim to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit,
to be led by the Holy Spirit, and to minister in the power
of the Holy Spirit.
Discipleship & Evangelism
We embrace the disciple making mandate of Jesus Christ
by first submitting ourselves as His disciples and secondly
committing ourselves to the task of making more disciples.
Thus, we pray for a burden for lost souls and Spirit-led
effectiveness in our evangelistic witness.
The Lordship of Christ
We are submitted to the Lordship of Christ in all areas
of life; to do His will, to fulfill our calling, to build
His Church, and to give Him glory.
Family
We are committed to strengthening the foundation of the
family by building strong marriages, good parenting practices,
and the development of a Christian community with shared
values.
